It’s the first Friday in June and the sun is shining and the coffee is almost ready.

We are open 9-5pm today and there are some gorgeous blooms in the cooler.

Don’t forget to order your graduation or prom corsage, boutonniere and/or bouquet. Ordering early means you won’t forget. 😉

Well, I just had to share one of my catches this week.

Flowers and fish…I can’t explain it but love them both!

But it’s back to work today and cannot wait to receive many PEONIES and other gorgeous locally grown flowers today.

Can you believe it?
2 years already.
Maybe in my wildest dreams I dreamt I would work in a flower shop but never even dreamt of getting remarried, move to Aylmer and meet so many amazing people and grow to love this community so much.

Happy early Saturday morning, friends!

Today we have a beautiful wedding, awesome graduation, and I am on my way to go fishing for a few days.

What a beautiful morning sky. I was up at 3:30 AM and not even the birds were awake yet but now the sky is gorgeous and the birds are singing and it’s a new day.

Happy Friday friends!

I hope your week was like the flowers on the peony tree.
Monday, the list or plan for the week was written up and by Friday, you feel accomplished and ready to enjoy the rays of sunshine of the weekend!

We were hoping to have loads of peonies for you today, but they are taking their time to bloom. We got word yesterday that they will be arriving next week!! Whooo hooo!
Thursday is going to be peony day! Can’t wait.

Happy Wednesday friends!

Yesterday I took a road trip with my mom and we went to see her older sister and her husband. What a true delight!

My Aunt Jenny used to work in a flower shop before and right after she was married. She has given me a few books and Calendar and magazine clippings of arrangements and bouquets from the 60s and 70s.

I surprised her with a vase full of flowers and watched her look at every bloom and take in the beauty.

And then came the stories. Of life. Of experiences. It was just so good.

Take time to listen to the stories. Go have a coffee or tea with your aunt, uncle, mom, dad, your neighbour, your friend. Stories of life give you a chance to look in the past but also opens the door for understanding and maybe a touch more love. Stories may also bring healing and closure.

A big thing I learned is that it runs in the family of loving gorgeous blooms. 💕
