The Brookville Community League (BCL) Annual General Meeting is happening on Tuesday, May 19th at 7:00 PM.

Let’s come together to keep our community strong and connected!

You can share your ideas, hear what’s happening in the neighborhood, and see how you can get involved. It is an opportunity for you to engage with the BCL Executive and share your thoughts, suggestions, and concerns about the past year and the year ahead. It also provides an excellent opportunity to connect and network with other members of your community.

A community league’s success depends on participation and thrives through volunteer support - every bit of time and energy makes a difference. Let’s build the future of our community, together!

Just sending out a heartfelt thank you to all for joining us at our Spring Market.

Thank you to all who took the time to stop and shop and support our vendors. There were 97 entries for the beautiful vendor-donated door prize gift basket, and the winning entry was drawn by one of our vendors at the end of the day. The lucky winner was Mavis Neil, a long-time Brookville community member who has been supporting the Hall for many years now. She was so thrilled and thankful when it was delivered!

We appreciate all the dedicated artisans and crafters that came out to showcase their amazing products. The environment inside our Hall was, as always, so warm and welcoming because of our vendors and shoppers. Kudos to all our outside vendors, the temp was low and the wind was cold, but you all persevered to the bitter end!

Thank you to the infamous Bookmobile, whose dedication to the youth and families in our community is so valued and appreciated. Not too many wanted to play outside in the grass on Saturday, but the Bookmobile stayed for the day just in case!

Thank you to The Green Onion Cake Truck for joining us. Those cakes are special and so are you, adding in your smiles, some humour and music to the experience. Did you all know that The Green Onion Cake Truck’s home is just over in Ardrossan? It feels good to support a local business!

Our first meeting of the year at our Hall is scheduled for next Tuesday, January 13th at 7:00 PM.

Our meetings are a great opportunity to connect with your neighbours, share ideas, and even talk about important issues that may affect our area.

Stop by for a snack and a hot beverage and be a part of the discussion about what has happened since we last met and what is being planned for the future. Our meetings are a great way for us to gain some new ideas as you share your thoughts about what you would like to see happen at our Hall.

If you have any specific questions or items to add to the agenda for discussion at this meeting, please inform us in advance so that we can be prepared to address any questions you may have!

Come on out and connect and share your ideas. Your presence will make our community even stronger, and we hope to see you there!
