One of the biggest reasons I love website design is because I get to help businesses create a space online that actually feels like them. Not just something pretty, but something strategic, organized, and easy for clients to connect with.

Building websites has become one of my favourite creative outlets. 🤍

I love being able to take someone’s vision, story, and business and turn it into something intentional, functional, and beautiful online. A website is so much more than just a page on the internet — it’s often the first impression people have of your business, and I love helping brands feel authentic, professional, and true to who they are.

From the layout and flow to the photos, colours, and little details, I genuinely enjoy creating spaces that not only look good but also feel easy for clients to connect with and navigate. Seeing a business owner excited about their website and confident sharing it with the world is honestly one of the most rewarding parts for me.

Over the last while, I’ve had the opportunity to work on projects for small businesses, wellness brands, interior design, community developments, and more — and every project teaches me something new creatively.

POV: A day in my life running a business with a baby on my chest, a toddler asking for snacks every 12 minutes, and a cat walking across my keyboard while I’m trying to edit photos 😂☕️

Editing galleries one-handed.
Reheating my coffee for the 4th time.
Saving a toddler from climbing something questionable.
Stopping to soak in baby cuddles because these moments go way too fast.
Then jumping right back into client work between naps, snacks, and chaos.

Some days are messy. Some days feel impossible. But honestly? I wouldn’t trade this season for anything. 🤍

Behind every gallery delivered, website designed, and message answered is a mama balancing dreams, deadlines, and little humans who need her most. And somehow… we make it work. 🫶

Also shoutout to the cat for contributing absolutely nothing except emotional support and fur on my keyboard 🐈✨

People often see the final gallery, but don’t always see the hours behind it. Photography isn’t just “showing up and taking pictures.” It’s years of learning, expensive equipment, editing software, travel, planning, backing up images, communicating with clients, and spending hours carefully editing each photo to tell your story beautifully.

For every 1-hour session, there can easily be several more hours spent behind the scenes — culling through hundreds of images, hand-editing each one, adjusting lighting, colors, skin tones, and making sure every image feels polished and timeless.

When you invest in photography, you’re not just paying for photos. You’re investing in someone’s experience, creativity, time, and the memories they’re preserving for you forever. 🤍📸

As photographers, we pour our hearts into what we do because these moments matter — and they deserve to be captured with care.

Whether it’s through photography, storytelling, or creating meaningful experiences — those moments matter.

One thing close to my heart will always be my Cancer Thrivers projects 🤍

After losing my dad to rare throat cancer years ago, these sessions became so much more than photography to me. They became a way to honor stories, strength, resilience, and the people fighting battles most never fully see.

This year, I’ll be bringing back Cancer Thrivers sessions again and continuing to create space for survivors, fighters, and families to feel seen and celebrated.

There’s something about the Saskatchewan Legislative Building that feels timeless every single time I see it. The architecture, the symmetry, the details in the stonework, the way the light hits it at sunsets. it’s one of those places that never photographs the exact same way twice.

I love capturing photos there because it tells a story without saying a word. It’s elegant, historic, and full of character, but it also feels peaceful and grounding. Whether it’s golden hour, cloudy skies, or the city lights reflecting at night, the building always creates the most beautiful backdrop.

As a photographer, I’m drawn to places that feel meaningful and cinematic, and the Legislative Building has that perfect mix of prairie beauty and timeless architecture. Every session there feels a little magical, and honestly, I could photograph it over and over again and still find something new to love.
