Before you fall in love with the chandeliers, make sure you ask the questions that could impact your budget and your celebration:

1. Are there any additional fees we should know about?

Your invoice and contract should clearly outline administrative fees, staffing, security, cleaning, and any other charges. Surprises are lovely for birthdays, not final invoices.

2. What time can our decorator begin setting up?

Some venues include setup time within your rental hours, which could take valuable time away from your actual celebration.

3. Who is responsible for cleaning up?

Some venues charge a cleanup fee while still requiring you to remove décor, dispose of garbage, or leave the space in a specific condition.

Ask the questions. Read the contract. Know exactly what is included before you book.
