Started as a community fundraiser, the Abbotsford Airshow has grown to become Canada’s National Airshow and one of the world’s premier aviation events.

TODAY WE PAUSE.🌺

From the partisan politics and the trivial concerns. From the hustle and bustle that consumes our daily lives.

We pause and remember the brave men and women who scarified for us. Who bled and died for us.

We pause and honour that sacrifice and the spirit in which in was made. The spirit of service above self. Of a greater good and humanity for those oppressed. A spirit of freedom.

Today we pause. We remember. And we give thanks. 🍁🇨🇦

❓Did you know? Joshua House Recovery Ministries - Abbotsford, BC is the Airshow's community partner for waste management. Their friendly volunteer "yellowshirts" work tirelessly to ensure the Airshow site stays clean and to support their life-changing work transforming men's lives.

This past weekend, Elevate Aviation honoured our very own Jadene Mah as an inspiring woman in Canadian aviation. ✈💃💪

Jadene's role in making the a continuing success defies definition. Media wrangling, performer coordinating, aircraft marshalling (in heels), on-camera interviewee, off-camera interviewer...at some point you'll find her doing it all.
