🌿✨ Something totally different from me! 😬 This project was way outside my usual work. I was asked to help create a float, and with the time and resources I had, I gave it my all. My very first float build taught me so much, and if I ever get the chance again, I’ll be stepping in with more know how than before.

The challenge: capture nature using recycled materials, all handmade. 🌊 The waterfall came from boxes, vines from paper, and the arch from more boxes wrapped in layers of paper, topped with artificial flowers. 🍄 Mushrooms were crafted from fan covers and laundry basket lids, while birds and butterflies were cut and shaped from cardboard.

Originally, I planned to decorate a 6ft x 8ft trailer, but last‑minute changes meant adjusting on the fly. The float may look simple, but every detail took hours of work. The photos don’t quite show the effort but I tried 🤣

These were the only pics I got cz I was so tired at the end and forgot to take better ones😬
