Ms. Loago Kinnely Kaboyamodimo nee Mupinda, 42 years of age. My home village is Kanye, in the southern part of Botswana.A Primary school teacher by profession, who is currently pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education at the University of Botswana, she has been empowering herself through Allison online and attained a few qualifications, which are a diploma in organizational behavior and a certificate in special education for children with Dyslexia. Ms. Loago is also an award medalist in recognition of Mid Career Service under the Ministry of Education and Skills Development by His Excellency, the President of Botswana Dr M.E.K.Masisi in 2023.
She has an emense passion for beauty pageantry, which is why she is a plus-size model and pursuing the MISS Plus Size Desert Diamonds competition. Loago has, over the years, groomed herself in the art of motivating other therefore she considers herself an aspiring motivational speaker who has recently stated practicing her motivational job at NGWAKETSE JSS WOMEN DAY Celebration in March 2024.
The reasons why she joined Miss Desert Diamond Plus size, is that, she is aiming to use this platform as a plus size woman to empower women to be confident in their own body,bto love and appreciate themselves as they are.
Being a teacher is a blessing to her because the platform will also helps her to further her daily duty to become a role model to both learners and women, to empower them on issues of how to deal with body shaming, self acceptance, personal growth and how to positively strengthen their mental health.
Becoming a finalist in this competition she has embodied the spirit of compassion, empathy, resilience, wellness and body positivity and fitness. Her aspiration in life is being a queen with a purpose, full of life, ambitious and unwavering commitment in helping and giving back to the community especially the marginalized women and people living with disabilities.
Winning this competition will be a dream come true for her. She will invest her achievements in partnering with other stakeholders and business entities to create jobs and careers for both youth and women for them to be independent, hence reducing issues of woman abuse and mental health.
