Bride Tip:
~ The difference between a wedding planner and a wedding coordinator:
~The planner gets to know the personal style of the couple, along with their vision for the wedding. ... A venue wedding coordinator is responsible for coordinating details about your actual event at the venue itself. In contrast, your wedding planner is responsible for managing ALL of the details of your entire wedding.
~It is important to note that if your wedding coordinator had no input in your detailed planning, they are not responsible for the quality of work that the vendors provide. If they had no concrete say in the choice of vendors then there is very little they can do to control the ex*****on of said vendor that you selected.
~ My advice? Budget for full wedding planning and not only wedding coordination for your wedding. This should be done at the beginning of planning.
