A Shout-Out to Our Wedding Planner: Karen Barsoe-Adderley

Karen Barsoe-Adderley of Professional Bahamas Weddings is a blessing! From the first time my now-husband and I spoke with her on the phone, she was kind, helpful and informative. We knew instantly that she was the right person to plan our dream wedding in paradise and she became a fast friend to us. When we decided to travel down to Nassau one year before our wedding date to check out venues and meet with vendors, Karen happily took time out of her schedule to spend two whole days with us and accompany us on all of our meetings. From the venues she recommended to the flowers and the entertainment, Karen’s taste was flawless. She seamlessly took our vision and made it a reality, and was always there to hold our hands through the inevitable stresses that come along with planning the most important day of your life. What we envisioned for our tropical dream wedding, Karen took and made into something more magnificent that we could have imagined. It has been two months since our special day, and our guests are still “ooh”-ing and “ahh”-ing over what an amazing wedding it was. We had numerous people tell us that it was the best wedding they had ever attended, and one even went so far as to say it was one of the best times he’s had in his adult life. Another friend who is getting married later this year declared (playfully) that she was calling her wedding off and eloping as there was no way she could ever top our spectacular wedding! We are so thankful to Karen for putting so much thought, care, innovation and hard work into our special day, and we will always consider her to be a part of our family. Any bride and groom will be overjoyed with the results they receive from Karen...she is truly an expert at what she does!
