Quando sonhamos em criar o Movimento Internacional de Dança (MID), imaginávamos um palco imenso sem fronteiras físicas e conceituais, onde caberia todas as danças. O desejo era, de mesmo que por um curto período, abrir as gavetas denominadas de contemporânea, moderna, clássica, rua, tribal, academias, populares, profissionais e amadoras e embaralhar tudo num mesmo território. ra, mas todo sonho para ser fantástico tem que ser lúdico e sem obediências às lógicas. Foi assim que nasceu o MID numa vontade genuína e intrínseca de colocar a plateia diante de uma dança, simplesmente dança. E o que era uma faísca buliçosa acendeu uma chama fulgurante que faz hoje do Movimento Internacional de Dança (MID) o maior festival do gênero no Centro-Oeste e um dos representativos do Brasil, que faz uma ponte efetiva com a dança de diversos países. When we dreamed of creating the Movimento Internacional de Dança (MID), we imagined an immense stage without physical and conceptual boundaries, where all the dances would fit. The desire was, even for a short period, to open the drawers called contemporary, modern, classic, street, tribal, academies, popular, professional and amateur and shuffle everything in the same territory. It seemed to be crazy, but every dream to be fantastic has to be playful and without obeying the logic. That was how MID was born in a genuine and intrinsic desire to put the audience before a dance, simply dance. And what was a noisy spark ignited a blazing flame that today makes the International Dance Movement (MID) the largest festival of its kind in the Midwest and one of the representative of Brazil, which effectively bridges the dance of different countries.
