Hydrangeas are beautiful flowers that have a Greek origin.💐

They are named after the prefix “hydro,” meaning water,
and the suffix “angeion,” which means vessel.

Interestingly, the colorful petals of the Hydrangea are actually sepals, which are leaves that protect the flower bud. They can also absorb water through the sepals, making it important to
spray them with water daily especially during summer
months to keep them looking fresh.

hydrangeas are a great option for people with allergies, as
they produce allergy-safe pollen.
