Story time!
I've equally had this video in my drafts... and I've been looking forward to sharing this experience with you!
So, it was on a Monday morning, I had this client who reached out to me placing her order for two plates of Coleslaw to be delivered by 7pm. l insisted on her paying to confirm her order which she surprisingly did without hesitation.
Anyways, I planned myself on how to meetup with the time for her delivery cos I finish from work by 5pm. In less than an hour, I was home and was able to make her order.
I had informed my delivery guy that he was do to a particular delivery that evening for me. I didn't want anything to go wrong given that this was a first time client. And also I was to go to church that same evening. It was a joint youth fellowship of two parishes of my church and I didn't want to miss it or even be late!
This story is gonna be a long one so stay tuned...😁
So... It was almost delivery time and then it started to rain!😩
It kept raining heavily and I was beginning to worry cos I was reaching out to the delivery guy and there wasn't a feed back from him. Until when he finally sent a message that he wasn't going to make it.🥹
I said to myself "Toh, what's the worst that can happen!" I packaged the order, wore my rain coat, wore my helmet and hopped on the next bike I could find to Calavi. Mind you (for my people in Benin rep 🇧🇯) the distance from Jericho to Calavi, bidossessi to precise is not a joke!!
While I was on that bike, It was a roller coaster of emotions for me. I laughed, I cried, I got sad, I encouraged myself!
I thought to myself, "was it really worth it?" The risk of journeying that distance that too under heavy rain
I thought "all for how much?", "all of these just to make money?" I criedddddddddd 😭😭
But then I said to myself "You see this business, I'd make it big, very biggg!"
The passion I have for what I do is second to none. And as the Lord gives us grace, we'd keep pushing!!!!
