Greetings, my friends!
I need to address something that has been on my mind for some time.
When we started Pungent Stench in February 1988, I never dreamed it would last 38 years, let alone be such a wild ride. We had the amazing opportunity to see the whole world, meet our musical idols, and make many new friends while pursuing our passion. And on top of that, we even got paid for it!
But everything in life comes to an end eventually, and after careful consideration, I have come to the conclusion that now is the time to move on. This decision was not an easy one for me, and I have thought about it for several years, but it feels right, and so I will close this chapter once and for all by the end of 2026.
Of course, we want to give you the opportunity to see us live one last time, so we are currently working on booking as many shows as possible this year. If you happen to be a concert promoter and interested in booking us, please get in touch with our agency: [email protected]
Finally, I would like to thank all my colleagues, without whom this adventure would never have been possible: Jacek Perkowski, Alex W**k, Mario Klausner, Fabio Testi, Gregor Marboe, Mike Gröger, Dan Vall, Flo Musil, Sergey Iofik, Paul Färber, Ariyan Rezaei Jahromi and Lukas Haidinger.
And most of all, I would like to thank you, our loyal fans, who made this unbelievable career possible in the first place! You’re the best and without you, this band would have been nothing! Although I fully understand that some of you may be disappointed, I sincerely hope that you can accept my decision, which was one of the most difficult I have ever had to make.
So let's not get melancholic now, but celebrate our farewell together by making it a loud one!
