Meet Commissar Lag , a standout name in the global techno scene. Serbian-born, he is a DJ, respected producer, and passionate promoter of authentic music culture. Renowned for his forward-thinking productions and timeless sound, Lag’s work captures the essence of true techno.

As a DJ, he blends the new and the old, unafraid to explore all flavors and tools to craft sweat-inducing dance floor moments. Guided by the mantra “All emotions in music are valid,” his performances leave a lasting impression.

Surge is back for its third round, and this time we’re teaming up with the local crew Rawsonance to kick off 2025. Mark your calendars for 07.02 because we’re taking over Club Pave, tucked inside the historic Sofia city library, to bring you another night of raw, cutting-edge techno.

We’re excited to welcome Commissar Lag from Serbia, a true champion of underground culture. With a sound that blends modern grit with vintage vibes, he’s a DJ and producer who knows how to work a dance-floor.

Supporting him will be a lineup of established local artists, each ready to bring their signature sound to the decks.
