📣 OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT — JOHN GARCIA FOR CORPUS CHRISTI CITY COUNCIL, DISTRICT 1.

To my family, friends, neighbors, and supporters:
After much thought and many conversations with people throughout our community, I am proud and excited to announce my campaign for Corpus Christi City Council — District 1.
Corpus Christi is my home, and I believe District 1 deserves leadership that listens, shows up, works hard, and puts our neighborhoods and families first.
My campaign will focus on the issues that affect us every day: public safety, stronger neighborhoods, better streets and infrastructure, reliable water, responsible growth, affordable housing, support for our local businesses, and making sure the voices of District 1 residents are heard at City Hall.
We can disagree about individual solutions while still agreeing on the goal: a stronger Corpus Christi.

🚧 A city with good streets, strong infrastructure, and strong neighborhoods.
🚔 A city where public safety is a priority and our families feel safe in their neighborhoods.
🏪 A city where small businesses can succeed, create jobs, and invest in our community.
🏡 A city where families can afford homes and build a future.
🌴 A city where visitors want to return, strengthening our tourism industry and local economy.
🎓 And most importantly, a city where our children want to stay, build careers, raise families, and become our next generation of leaders.
Progress doesn't happen because of one elected official, one organization, or one business. Progress happens when we work together — residents, neighborhoods, businesses, community organizations, and local government.
This campaign isn't just about one person. It's about all of us working together to build a stronger District 1 and a better Corpus Christi.
I am asking my family, friends, neighbors, and supporters to stand with me, share this announcement, and join us as we begin this journey.
I am ready to listen. I am ready to work. And I am ready to serve.
Together, we can build a Corpus Christi that works for today while preparing for the generations that will call our city home tomorrow.
