i hosted the first of my christmas wreath workshops on monday ✨

we had such a wonderful time, making beautiful wreaths, eating minces pies + drinking mulled wine 🥧🍷

made with all reusable, recyclable + compostable materials on a moss base 🎄

decorated with ilex berries, viburnum, wax flowers, cinnamon, oranges, dried strawflowers + dried pepper berries 🎄

b u s i n e s s firsts

yesterday i held my first christmas market stall, in fact my first ever stall since i started ROBIN + BLUME 🎄✨

and it just so happens to coincide exactly with my final day at after my career change course in 2021 🌸

i really appreciate that level of synchronicity 🔮

and although i am not exactly where i want to be in my floristry business journey, and in spite of moving to belgium in 2022, having a very young family and the intricities of visas, residency status + belgian tax laws …

i am extremely proud of myself and my small business 🤍

i have been inspired by her work is so beautiful and elegant that i wanted to give it a go for myself 🌸

dried flowers can be so versatile and such a wonderful product to use to create floral art particularly during the late autumn and winter months ❄️🍂

f i r s t workshop

this week i hosted my first ever workshop! we made seasonal mini vase arrangements + they looked divine 🤍

it has been + still is tricky to maintain business + creative momentum since the family moved across to Belgium as there are strict rules under my particular residency status of what I can + can’t do!

but i have found a way to keep my creativity flowing + flowery skills growing 🌸

i will be volunteering running not for profit floral workshops, sharing my skills + flowers with the British community here in SHAPE ✨
