MIF Events is the organizer of the MIF International Money Fair, the world’s leading fair for paper money and numismatics.

We bring together collectors, dealers, investors and experts from 70 countries around the world in MECC Maastricht. The MIF2017 will take place in december 2017 at the MECC Convention Centre at Maastricht. A perfect place for collectors and investors in gold, silver and banknotes across the globe.

Ladies and gentlemen, fellow exhibitors, dealers, sponsors, and numismatic friends,

It is with great joy and pleasure that we look back on our MIF Spring Fair. For the umpteenth time in a row, we have broken records whether in terms of the on-site grading by the PMG team or the growing number of exhibitors and dealers from 70 different countries around the world.
The number of visitors on Saturday was also fantastic—more than ever before!

It is wonderful to see how the entire numismatic community comes together and sets an example for the world. We share a common passion that knows no boundaries.

Ladies and gentlemen, as we mentioned in our speech, a big thank you, because without all of you, it was impossible to run such a beautiful MIF show!

We look forward to seeing you again at MIF Fall, 25-26-27 September 2026!

Looking back at a highlight from the past weekend at the MIF International Paper Money Fair. Alderman John Aarts was presented with the very first ‘Maastricht Year 2026’ commemorative medal.

This special piece, struck in a very limited edition by the Royal Dutch Mint, was handed over by Mint Master Bert van Ravenswaaij and MIF organizer Dimitri Waltmans. A historic milestone as we count down to the city-wide celebrations in 2026!

Exclusive Commemorative Medal Maastricht Year 2026 at MIF 2026

Royal Dutch Mint and the MIF International Money Fair honor Maastricht Year 2026 with a special commemorative medal. Maastricht Year 2026 is an initiative of alderman John Aarts and celebrates the city’s rich history and the connection between all its residents throughout the year. The commemorative medal serves as a lasting memento of this special year of people-connecting events.

This medal, presented in a coin holder, has been struck in a very limited mintage of 1,000 pieces in BU quality with UV print. It will be available exclusively during the MIF fair on 2 & 3 May at the stand of the Royal Dutch Mint for €12.50, limited to one per person.

100 Years of Belga at the MIF International Money Fair 2026!

On behalf of the Royal Belgian Mint, Herdenkingsmunten.be has added coins to the assortment of the MIF International Money Fair. And not just any coins—this is a truly exclusive fair issue featuring an official €1 Belgium 2026 coin. The special coincard, dedicated to 100 years of Belga, has a limited mintage of only 1,500 pieces and will be available during the MIF on 2 & 3 May for €12.50, limited to one per person.

The official €1 Belgium 2026 coin is struck in BU quality and will not enter circulation. The MIF 2026 issue is entirely dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Belga—a tribute to Belga, which was founded in 1926. It also serves as a coincard alternative to the brand-new Belga Gold!
