I’ll never forget the feeling when this happened at the Belgiums Got Talent semi finals 🤯❤️

It was definitely one of the most intense moments of my life… And I still get chills when looking at this.

The semi finals was such an impactful experience for me since I had been training for the act I specifically created for the TV show for months. Day and night.

During the rehearsals I was shaken up because I ran into a lamp right before and cut my face, which was bleeding severely.

The act went completely wrong.
And that was 2 hours before the show.

They had to cover this injury with makeup, and while I was sitting in there I already heard the audience entering.

My friends, family and I knew millions where watching from home to what I was about to do. No pressure at all…

But I only had one shot. One shot at sharing the magic I had been working on for months, and the craft I had been honing down for years, day in, day out. And one shot at making my dream come true.

To make the little me proud who was watching TV at the age of 8 and said: “I don’t know what I’ll do yet, but one day I’ll stand in the finals of Belgiums Got Talent”

So I did everything in my power to make it happen.

No wishful thinking, but working on my craft and on my act every second I could.

A “funny” story proving this dedication:

In the semi finals a jury member’s phone appeared duct taped to my back.

But here is what you didn’t see on TV:

Because I practiced so much: putting the duct tape on, pulling it of, and again, and again…

I had burn marks all over my back and couldn’t sleep on it for three weeks.

Was it ideal? Not at all.
But necessary to accomplish what I wanted to.

And that’s all that mattered to me. And it still is.
Therefore this video is so special.

Exactly 2 years ago in 2024 I head the honour of performing as the official entertainer at the Olympic Games in Paris, brining magic to the games.

It was an amazing adventure where I met so many new friends, made memories for life and brought magic to the games and its athletes and visitors.

Can’t wait to perform in this kind of iconic event anymore! 🥳
