Let’s turn another chapter in ICARE’s story…

The 6th ICARE edition brought our international community to the beautiful city of Ghent, Belgium, from May 20–24, 2024.

Surrounded by centuries-old architecture and vibrant academic culture, veterinarians, researchers, and students reunited once again to advance avian, reptile, and exotic mammal medicine. It was a week filled with groundbreaking science, hands-on collaboration, and unforgettable moments among colleagues and friends.

Ghent continued ICARE’s legacy — building bridges across disciplines, continents, and generations of exotic animal professionals, all united by a shared mission to improve animal health and welfare worldwide.
