European Bug-In

Thank you all for your continued support to the European Bug-In. We expect record attendance! Day visitors can park at the top of the drag strip and enter via the cycle path alongside the drag strip, (using the Ravel cycle path). This will allow us to keep on anyway the Slalom circuit, which had to be cancelled due to a lack of parking on Sundays.

To help you get around the site more easily, and in light of the minor changes, here is the new site map quick view.

Each letter (A/Z) corresponds to a notable area where an activity takes place.

(E) Cashless top-up in the Party Tent.

(J) Major change for the Off-Road event: it has moved to the meadow alongside the drag strip but remains accessible to participants via the old off-road track. (!!! No access through the exhibitors' village!!!).

(A/B-S) Locate the Entrances/Exits (A/B) and the Red Cross areas (S)!

(T-V) In the new Tower (T) you will find a brand new shower/toilet area (in addition to the free outdoor toilets) - the Red Cross area for the lower part of the circuit, a Chimay Bar in addition to the VIP terrace (V) which is now split into two sections. Drinks are available along the track and food and drinks are available in the Tower.

This map will be distributed at the entrance to the meeting and is available in Bug-In Magazine.

PS : You will also find emergency numbers below in ant case you need them.

Les visiteurs d'un jour pourront se garer en haut de la piste de Drag et entrer par piste cyclable le long de la piste de Drag, par le Ravel (Parcous flèché). Ce qui nous permettra de conserver le Slalom qui avait du être supprimé faute d'espaces de Parking le Dimanche.

Afin de faciliter vos déplacements sur le site et au vu des petits changements, voici la nouvelle carte du site.
A chaque Lettre (A/Z) correspond un espace notable où une activité se déroule.

(E) Rechargement Cashless dans la Party tent.

(J) Gros changement pour le Tout Terrain : il se déplace dans la prairie le long de la piste de Drag mais reste accessible pour les participants par l'ancienne piste de TT. (!!! pas d'accès par le village exposant!!!).

(A/B-S) Repérez les Entrées/Sorties (A/B) et les espaces Croix Rouge (S) !

(T-V) Vous trouverez dans la nouvelle Tour (T) un espace tout neuf pour les Douche/WC (en plus des WC extérieurs gratuits) - l'espace croix rouge pour le bas du circuit, un Bar Chimay en plus de la terrasse VIP (V) qui se dédouble. Boissons le long de la piste et boisson/food dans la Tour.

Pas d'inquiétude si vous ne retenez pas tout, ce plan sera distribué à l'entrée du meeting et disponible dans le Bug-In Magazine. :)

For the third consecutive edition, the EMPI brand is partnering with VANS to release a series of classic shoes with EMPI Vintage graphics from the golden years. They will be visible for the first time on June 20 in California. Having seen them, we can tell you that they are absolutely superb and full of well-chosen references!
Their quantity and price have not yet been announced. But they will be available for pre-order at that time and delivered to the luckiest at the European Bug-In. Pre-orders on June 20 : www.europeanbugin.com

Some wonder why the VW world is so closely linked to the VANS brand?
The answer can be found partially in the magazine "European Bug-In 11," which contains the meeting program but also several in-depth articles. (available in the Earlybirds Goodiebags and at the EBI stand).

Pour la troisième édition consécutive la marque EMPI s'associe à VANS afin d'éditer une série de shoes classiques au graphisme Vintage EMPI des grandes années. Elles seront visibles pour la première fois le 20 Juin en Californie. Pour les avoir vues, on peut vous dire qu'elles sont absolument superbes et truffées de refs bien senties ! Certains se demandent pourquoi le monde des VW est si étroitement liè à la marque VANS ?
La réponse se trouve partiellement dans le Magazine "European Bug-In 11" qui contient le programme du meeting mais aussi plusieurs articles articles de fond. (disponible dans les Goodies bag des 2000 premiers à avoir commandé leurs Tickets sur notre site et au stand EBI).

Some behind the scenes pictures of the shooting ! The photoshoot went well ! Our new Phebe De Clercq will be at the European BugIn and will take the Honours for the weekend ! Meet phebe on the event, ask her for sure for a picture with you and/or your car - but also on the Empi 70th birthday party on friday night in Chateau Ferme Macon, the friday and saturday night parties in the main tent, and of course the prizegiving on sunday !!! 🙂

Il se caractérise chaque fois par des dessins de véhicules remarquables dont nous avons eu vent de la présence cette année à Chimay ! Vous ne le trouverez pas ailleurs, ni plus t**d.
