Visual arts workshops for the 2026 Zinneke Parade are coming to Place Noord! 🌱

From early March, Place Noord is hosting paper-mâché grotesque structure workshops led by artist Koen Berghmans, as part of the Zinnode Natural Nord (Quartier Nord). A local group preparing creations for the next edition of the Zinneke Parade, Brussels’ large participatory urban parade.

Workshops take place at Place Noord on Wednesdays:
Morning sessions (9am–12pm) : 11/03, 25/03, 08/04, 22/04
Afternoon sessions (3pm–5pm) : 04/03, 18/03, 01/04, 15/04

Place Noord x Grüb 🍴
For the new season, Place Noord is launching an open call in collaboration with ._ to support initiatives rooted in the North District of Brussels.

We will organize five pay-what-you-can dinners, each bringing together Place Noord, Grüb, and one selected local initiative.
At every dinner, one project from the neighborhood will be highlighted.

All proceeds will be donated to the invited association to support its actions within the neighborhood.

The journey continues 🌱
The project is growing and entering a new chapter in Brussels North.

On the platform of the former CCN building, next to Gare du Nord, Place Noord is coming back to life but larger, more ambitious, and more open than ever.

Designed as a space for encounters, culture and shared moments, Place Noord is an evolving project rooted in the neighbourhood. It’s a multicultural space, shaped by the diversity of Brussels and the energy of the district.

Expect exhibitions, workshops, concerts, collaborations with local collectives, festivals… and more to be announced.

We’re working hard behind the scenes, and the program of our upcoming events will be revealed very soon!

« Un Moment Suspendu » is a traveling installation designed by Brussels-based designer .be .
From festivals to events, this flexible relaxation zone unfolds and adapts, offering various types of soft seating.
The seats installed this summer at were made from second-hand tarpaulins for the “Les Nuits Botanique 2025” festival.

As from this week, and every Friday when the weather allows, Apéro Noord will come alive to start your weekend the right way. For these Friday sessions, local collective takes charge of the line-up, inviting DJs and artists to deliver a mix of Funk, Hip Hop and Soul.

Defi-J, a key figure in Belgian hip-hop, is a versatile artist: rapper, DJ, dancer, producer, and vinyl collector. He’s known for his sharp selections blending hip-hop, funk, and jazz-rock.
Smimooz, a major producer since 1987, co-founded the iconic group De P**a Madre, a cornerstone of Belgium’s underground hip-hop scene.
Together, they’ll go back-to-back on vinyl, spinning a funky, old-school hip-hop set
