Back in the BRUZZ studio tonight with two artists exploring transformation, emergence, memory, and the spaces in between.

First up is Brussels-based multidisciplinary artist Haolin Huang, () ahead of tomorrow’s opening of Manifesto of the In-Between at . Together we’ll dive into identity, visibility, vulnerability, and inhabiting the tensions between personal narratives and collective emotion, where myth, memory, and reality begin to blur.

Later in the show, Berlin-based South Korean artist .k.wav joins me to talk about Briko, her new EP on . What began as an exploration of birth and emergence gradually evolved into something more subtle: small movements, fragile rhythms, sounds not yet fully settled into form. Inspired by ideas of becoming, children’s songs, off-kilter electronics, and the quiet atmosphere surrounding the birth of her first nephew, the record drifts between playful electro, experimental club textures, and dreamlike leftfield techno.

We’ll talk about intuition in composition, leaving space for imperfection and misalignment, and how tracks like Briko and Dewstir each hold their own emotional movement and direction.

Expect conversations moving through art, sound, memory, transformation, and club culture, alongside music from both guests and beyond.

Looking back on a year that moved fast and hit hard.

As the year comes to a close, I’m finally taking a moment to look back. From radio residencies to all-night club sets, festivals, workshops, and spaces across Belgium and beyond, I spent most of this year in motion.

What doesn’t fit into dates and venues is that I’ve been going through hell and back in my personal life for over a year. Still, I consider myself deeply lucky. Lucky to have the right people around me, and lucky to have met new ones along the way who I can truly call friends. It’s been grounding to feel that, over time, people have seen for themselves who I am, and who I am not.

Music, spaces, and community gave me structure when everything else felt unstable. Every booking, every invitation, every room meant more than just a gig.

Deep thanks to all venues, promoters, platforms, and collaborators for the trust. And to everyone who listened, danced, checked in, or stayed close, thank you. You carried me more than you know. 🤍

I met .tihon not too long ago, and every encounter, whether at a club, an open-air, one of your favourite radio stations, or even during random moments at the Ghent train station, has been the same, a big warm smile and genuine curiosity. Seeing someone’s eyes light up when they talk about music and share their enthusiasm for the culture is such a joy. It gives me hope to see people like them entering the scene with real care and interest in the local music community. That is why I am happy to share that we will be having the lovely and vibrant su:zy in our studio this coming Wednesday, where we will have a short interview first and then a little glimpse into their musical landscape. 🫧

I’ll be playing in between his live performances in the Arena, a full circle moment for me. Ever since hearing Farukx back in 2011, Floating Points has been one of my biggest comfort artists in contemporary electronic music. When life wasn’t at its kindest, that track (tbh most of his work) always brought warmth and calm.

Can’t wait to share music that feels close to the heart, music for movement, emotion, and connection.
