nner le meilleur du Roots Reggae Dub Conscious. Avec deux premiers évènements sous le nom de Brussels Dub Embassy avec comme invités Daba Makourejah et Fatma Soundsystem, le collectif continue sous un nouveau nom plus adapté au collectif ¨Brussels Roots Collective¨avec les "SISTREN AT THE CONTROLS" :Projecteur sur les artistes femmes dans le monde de la culture Sound System. Avec comme invités les Roots Daughters Soundsystem, Jah Vibes Soundsystem, Sista Sheeba, Sista Sherin, Nell & Hell. Voici une présentation des membres du collectif :
𝔹𝕝𝕒𝕟𝕕𝕚𝕟𝕖 𝕒𝕜𝕒 ℂ𝕠𝕟𝕤𝕔𝕚𝕠𝕦𝕤 𝔹𝔼, -
grandie à Londres où elle s'est imprégnée de la scène et culture musicale jamaïcaine, Lady Conscious Be joue du Ska, Rocksteady et Roots Reggae depuis 2007. A Bxl depuis 2010, elle collabore avec un tas de selectas puis propose de nombreux événements dont la Soul Vibration, invitant des pointures de Londres à collaborer avec des acteurs de la scène locale. Son but est de continuer à propager la culture, la finesse et l'âme de ces sons poétiques et spirituels magiques!

Selectress depuis 2008, elle débute en Italie en jouant dans des bars sa collection de vinyles oldies jamaïquaine, ska, Rocksteady et Roots . Animatrice de l' émission radio « VOICE OF THE PEOPLE » sur l'histoire de la musique jamaïquaine de 2012 à 2014. Ses sélections sont un voyager à 360 degrés sur les sonorités militantes du Reggae de ses origines à nos jours. .

Jahkehline a plongé dans l'univers Soundsystem Reggae Dub grâce au Roots Corner Soundsystem qu'il aide et suit depuis 2016. En 2019 il intègre le Reservoir Dub Radio Show sur Radio Panik et se lance dans plusieurs projets liés au Soundsystem et la musique Reggae/Dub. ENglish

4 DJs, Radio Presenters, Promoters and Organisers with a passion for the Jamaican scene and culture. Each of them brings their own experience and personal touch to their musical selections, paying close attention to quality so as to deliver the very best in Conscious Roots Reggae Dub. After two first events under the name of Brussels Dub Embassy with guests Daba Makourejah and Fatma Soundsystem, the collective continues under a new name more suited to the collective ¨Brussels Roots Collective¨ with the ‘SISTREN AT THE CONTROLS’ :Spotlight on female artists in the world of Sound System culture. With guests Roots Daughters Soundsystem, Jah Vibes Soundsystem, Sista Sheeba, Sista Sherin, Nell & Hell. Here's an introduction to the members of the collective:

Raised in London, where she immersed herself in the Jamaican music scene and culture, Lady Conscious Be has been playing Ska, Rocksteady and Roots Reggae since 2007. Based in Brussels since 2010, she has collaborated with a host of selectas and organised a number of events, including Soul Vibration, inviting some of London's biggest names to collaborate with members of the local scene. Her aim is to continue spreading the culture, finesse and soul of these magical poetic and spiritual sounds!

A selectress since 2008, she got her start in Italy playing her collection of Jamaican oldies, ska, rocksteady and roots vinyl in bars. Host of the radio show ‘VOICE OF THE PEOPLE’ on the history of Jamaican music from 2012 to 2014. Her selections are a 360-degree journey through the militant sounds of Reggae from its origins to the present day. .

Jahkehline plunged into the Soundsystem Reggae Dub universe thanks to Roots Corner Soundsystem, which he has been helping and following since 2016. In 2019 he joins the Reservoir Dub Radio Show on Radio Panik and embarks on several projects related to Soundsystem and Reggae/Dub music. Nederlands

Elk van hen brengt zijn eigen ervaring en persoonlijke touch in hun muzikale selecties, met een focus op kwaliteit om het allerbeste in Conscious Roots Reggae Dub te leveren. Na twee eerste evenementen onder de naam Brussels Dub Embassy met gasten Daba Makourejah en Fatma Soundsystem, gaat het collectief verder onder een nieuwe naam die beter past bij het collectief ¨Brussels Roots Collective¨ met de “SISTREN AT THE CONTROLS” :Spotlight op vrouwelijke artiesten in de wereld van de Sound System cultuur. Met als gasten Roots Daughters Soundsystem, Jah Vibes Soundsystem, Sista Sheeba, Sista Sherin, Nell & Hell. Hier is een introductie van de leden van het collectief:
𝔹𝕝𝕒𝕟𝕕𝕚𝕟𝕖 𝕒𝕜𝕒 ℂ𝕠𝕟𝕤𝕔𝕚𝕠𝕦𝕤 𝔹𝔼, -. Lady Conscious Be groeide op in Londen, waar ze zich verdiepte in de Jamaicaanse muziekscene en cultuur. Sinds 2007 speelt ze Ska, Rocksteady en Roots Reggae. Sinds 2010 woont ze in Brussel en heeft ze samengewerkt met een groot aantal selecta's en een aantal evenementen georganiseerd, waaronder Soul Vibration, waarbij enkele van de grootste namen uit Londen werden uitgenodigd om samen te werken met leden van de lokale scene. Haar doel is om de cultuur, finesse en ziel van deze magische poëtische en spirituele klanken te blijven verspreiden!

Ze is sinds 2008 een selectrice en begon in Italië met het draaien van haar collectie Jamaicaanse oldies, ska, rocksteady en roots vinyl in bars. Van 2012 tot 2014 was ze gastvrouw van het radioprogramma “VOICE OF THE PEOPLE” over de geschiedenis van de Jamaicaanse muziek. Haar selecties zijn een 360-graden reis door de militante klanken van Reggae van de oorsprong tot nu. ...
