Now that the heatwave has eased up a bit, our fried brains have some space again to think about a good recap. Because wohoow — how fast did that all go, and so much has happened!

[EN below] We scharen ons achter de boodschap die op de gevels van Vlaamse cultuurhuizen te zien is, en roepen de Belgische regering op tot een daadkrachtiger beleid tegen de flagrante mensenrechtenschendingen door Israël in Gaza en op de Westelijke Jordaanoever. We vragen de Belgische regering om werk te maken van een staakt-het-vuren, sancties tegen Israël, de erkenning van Palestina en de bescherming van mensenrechtenorganisaties. We roepen daarnaast iedereen graag op om op 15 juni mee te stappen in de protestactie georganiseerd door 11.11.11.

We stand behind the message currently displayed on the façades of Flemish cultural institutions, and call on the Belgian government to take stronger action against the grave human rights violations committed by Israel in Gaza and the West Bank. We urge the Belgian government to call for an immediate ceasefire, impose sanctions on Israel, recognise the State of Palestine, and protect human rights organisations. We also call on everyone to join the demonstration on 15 June in Brussels, organised by 11.11.11.

Residence with live band at Pilar – album release this Thursday 🔥

This Thursday, takes the stage, alongside .solo._ to bring the release of Puntjes op de I Vol. 2 – the follow-up to the first album, now with a full live band. You could say a level up 🎤

The band features Moene Peeters on drums, Theo Braekman on keys, and Samuel Moreira van Binsbergen on bass.

His performances are musical journeys full of emotion and energy.

You may have noticed that more and more artists and concepts are exploring the meditative aspects of music. This might be how we begin to shape our concert experiences and evenings in the future.

As summer approaches, this evening will offer a moment to pause. Whether you’re a student heading into exams or someone coming out of a hectic work year and easing into summer plans – this is the time to hit the pause button.

With Siren Calls – a project by Karolien Polenus – and with Julia E. Dyck and leïla alice, we want to experience concerts in a different way. Tune into yourself, slow down, recharge, and take a more introspective position within a collective experience.
