𖤓 BLINDFOLDED — Milo Vidal 𖤓
From 7 to 13 September, BLINDFOLDED, a photographic exhibition by Milo Vidal, will be on view at La Chapelle, Grand Hospice.
Milo Vidal is an emerging photographer based in Brussels, working at the intersection of photography, photojournalism, and philosophy. BLINDFOLDED brings together portraits of young people living in Brussels, Berlin, Barcelona, Mexico City, and New York.
Through a dialogue between contemporary portraits and historical images, the exhibition explores memory, archives, and the ways history can suddenly feel close and personal.
His starting point was: If violence is documented, commemorated, and condemned, why does it continue to repeat itself?
By juxtaposing the present with traces of the past, BLINDFOLDED invites us to reflect on the persistence of history, and the ways it continues to shape our lives today.
