🎧DJ Junne a.k.a Bjorn Junne Claeys🔊

DJ Junne start his career in 1992 at the age of 16 years. One year later he start to play some Saturdays at Lagoa. From then he was asking for many local party's like I love retro at expo Ypres. In all this years till now he was/is guest at different locations: Lagoa, La Bush, Cherry Moon, Montini,... and festivals like Dreambeats, Land of Love, Beachland, Univerz festival, Back to the roots, Retro Empire,...

He is also already 7 years stage manager of Land of Love and 4 years stage-& artist manager at Back to the roots. He is knowing now from his combinated mixes of retro and reworks.

At Cargo Summerbar he gonna bring you a mix of all knowing tracks of the 90's from La Bush, At the Villa, Lagoa. So, don't miss his set starting from 16h!

🔥Pudde at Retro Classics🔥

🎧DJ Pudde a.k.a Glenn Vanhove🔊 A real Ostend allstar DJ and producer! 💥

Known and loved by all, and gives his admiration back in significant sessions adjusted to the flock on the playground.

Pudde - Glenn Vanhove - has a DJ career that started in the mid-90' s. To put a label on him would be outrageous, because his immense vinyl collection of house music consists of techno, tech house, deep house, progressive, ambient, experimental, and many others. And he will deliver what the people want time after time just because of his variation. This man creates a vibe that will give you the shivers down your spine and goosebumps all over your body. Satisfaction is the correct word to define when you experience a set by Pudde. He occasionally will use a track of his own with a fat base and constructive melodies and you will go bonkers!

In Ostend and large environment there isn't a place that he gave his best. And nationwide Pudde was at the turntables at Café d' Anvers and Fuse, but also at Elixir , 10 Days Off, Ostend Beach and recently Tomorrowland to name just a few. At Cargo summerbar he has his appropriate concept "Breek de week" on a weekly base. Besides that he's part of "Bricoleurs" which is an instrumental live act with vocals, harmonica, sax, bongo,... And to make sure he's always occupied with music this amiable guy has his own record label "Dodgy Recordings". There he can express his profound, floaty, flexible or severe feeling he has that particular day.

So words cannot pronounce Glenn's reverence for music and it's really in his veins.

🔥PhiPhi at Retro Classics🔥

🔊A true pioneer of Belgian electronic music🔊

French DJ and producer Phi-Phi played a key role in developing and popularizing the progressive house sound during the 1990s. You can for sure say that he’s one of the pioneers and made the foundation for the Belgium electronic scene with lots of residency’s for legendary clubs in Belgium nightlife.

Phi-Phi is known for his excellent DJ mixing skills and storytelling sets that goes from melodic techno or techno to progressive & housemusic.

Production wise his long-time cohort with Philippe Van Mullem (R.I.P.) resulted in projects such as Dobel You, Honey C, UNA, Innertales and Quadran. Phi-Phi had also some collaborations with Gregory Dewindt, the Mackenzie, Roddy Reynaert and Airwave. All the tunes became European or Belgium club hits with some of them even charted and earned European national radio airplay.

Nowadays Phi-Phi is teaming up with Manu Riga, Cedric Piret CP, Bruno Sanchioni, Marc Denuit, Kayinda, Ignace Paepe (list goes on) and producing for himself a proper sound of quality melodic progressive electronic music. Phi-Phi is also remixing other artists into his own well known signature sound.

Phi Phi still is one of the true architects of the Belgian progressive sound. His sets are as mentioned deep, hypnotic and full of history, carrying decades of craft straight to the floor with unmatched expertise.

He helped shape European progressive house long before the word became a trend. His role in Belgium’s electronic music scene has influenced generations of dancers, DJs and producers alike. his recent project as AOL Soundsystem together with Red D is also a living testament to that legacy, playing ‘vinyl’ only sets.

Mouvement Perpetuel is now evolved also into a proper record label with a first ‘Forty EP’ – Phi Phi release in 2025 and is producing own events across Belgium and Northern France. All this in the true spirit for those in search for deeper & intense sounds or beats in electronic music.

This is not nostalgia.
This is continuity.

🔥BPM at Retro Classics🔥

Our second DJ announcement for this Saturday at Cargo Summerbar, 🎧 BPM a.k.a. Bram Pauwels

Born and raised in Bruges, BPM spent the most of his teen years in the legendary clubs of the nineties and it is there that he took up the passion for music.

10 years ago he changed his focus from collecting records to playing records.

His DJ skills were quickly noticed by local clubs and since then he has been playing in more bigger clubs and festivals.

He is also the co-founder and resident DJ of Retro Nation.

🔥DJ BOLLE at Retro Classics 🔥

We kick off our DJ announcements for this Saturday at Cargo Summerbar with 🎧DJ BOLLE💥

DJ BOLLE was born in Roeselaere in the summer of 69. After playing football untill my 16th birthday, I began to be very interested in new-wave and dance-music. On my 18th birthday I bought myself 2 turn-tables and a mixer, one year later I began spinning the decks, in "the Step in" Roeselaere.

After a few years, I took the big step to a big discotheque, "Eros" also in Roeselaere. From then on, it went all very fast. Trough Ferarri's, Megadrome Dyore and Diwi's, I became resident in Lagoa, where I playing on the famous Sunday-afternoons together with dj Olivier c. There we had 3 supreme years.

After a break of 4 years, Marie-jeanne, the boss of Lagoa, came to get me back to play together with dj Manu (kenton) in Room 2 of Lagoa. Room 2 is now know as Ground-zero, where I spin the decks till 2010. I was al so resident with dj-hs in the main-room and working by the management for lagoa till 2013.

@ this time i still play @ lagoa and many clubs all over belguim and North France

My most beautifull memories are the clubs, Lagoa, Eros, Larocca backstage, D’yore, Cirao, Cheops, Le cube, City-parade, Djamnesia, Labush, Café d’anvers, Le purple, Memories oostende, Dreambeats, House torhout, Hype o dream, Retro nation, Club systemparty’s, Legends, Cirque magique - Land of love - I love retro and many more...
