Something is cooking in the studio and I am not ready to share what it is just yet.

What I can tell you is that the sessions have been intense lately. The kind where you lose track of time
completely and suddenly it is 2am and you are still going. That feeling never gets old.

This mix was recorded live and you can feel it. There is something about a vinyl set that digital just cannot
replicate. The weight of the records, the decisions you make in real time, the fact that there is no going
back. That is what makes it special.

People always ask what goes into preparing a vinyl set.

The honest answer is it starts days before the gig.

Flipping through records, listening, picking the ones that feel right for that specific night and that specific
crowd. Sometimes a record I have not played in years suddenly makes perfect sense. No two sets are
ever the same and that is exactly the point.

The preparation is part of the art.
