Mermaid Art Foundation Mermaid Art Foundation is an organisation which creates a live experiences to the world of Art.

The Mermaid Art Foundation started its journey with the intention of working with artists in creating an art scene in the beach town of Cox’s Bazaar in Bangladesh. The foundation has collaborated with artist Ronni Ahmmed in many of its ventures starting with the first Mermaid café on the beach and established the first beach art gallery in the country. The Mermaid Eco-Resort in Pechar Dwip started

with the idea of an artist’s retreat, ten miles south of the sea-side tourist town. Mermaid Ventures, which support the foundation, are about creating new aesthetics in art, architecture and design, which stand out and create an alternative to the mainstream. Ronni has had a two year long exhibition, as featured artist, at the Mermaid Gallery Café in Baridhara, Dhaka, and has another ongoing one at the Mermaid Café at Gulshan, Dhaka.
