We chose four topics that define where cybersecurity stands right now - and every single one of them comes from the field, not the textbook.

🔵 Cyber Defense - how SOC teams actually operate: red/blue/purple team, threat hunting, incident response.
🟠 Critical Infrastructure - OT, ICS, SCADA, energy systems. When the target isn't a server, it's a turbine.
🤖 AI & Security - adversarial ML, prompt injection, AI red-teaming. Securing the models that make decisions.
🔒 Privacy & Compliance - NIS2, DORA, GDPR. When regulation becomes an engineering challenge.

📢 Call for Papers, Special Issue: Security 4.0, Cybersecurity and Digital Resilience of Information Systems

A call for scientific and professional papers is now open for the special issue of the International Journal of Innovative Solutions in Engineering (IJISE) focused on cybersecurity and digital resilience of information systems.

The thematic focus includes information systems security, digital forensics, incident response, network and software security, OT/ICS security, IoT, 5G, cyber risk management, regulatory compliance, data protection, supply chain security, the application of artificial intelligence in cybersecurity, anomaly detection, security analytics, and the broader context of digital resilience in the Western Balkans region.

The goal of this special issue is to connect academia, industry, the public sector, and security institutions through research-oriented and practically applicable contributions in the field of cybersecurity.
