Closing a Beautiful Chapter with Deep Gratitude ❤️

After 5.5 years of shared adventures, creative milestones, and meaningful growth, we officially close a beautiful chapter with one of our very first clients at Sage—Futura Innovation Lab.

I began working with Futura at the end of 2019, with one of my very first projects being the Futura Café and the Caya Grandi events. At the time, it felt like a dream come true—I had once hoped to be part of the Futura Lab while still at my previous job. And then, through my own company, that dream landed at my doorstep as a long-term partnership.

Futura was never just a client. They were a team, a community, and a place I felt truly supported—especially during the early days of my career, through the trials of the COVID-19 era, and throughout my own personal grieving journey.

This team made sure I never felt alone. Through the highs and lows, we grew together. And for that, I am endlessly grateful.

Thank you, Futura, for trusting me, believing in me, and giving me the opportunity to work on some of the most fulfilling and memorable projects of my life. This isn’t goodbye forever—because the friendships we’ve built will always remain.

Project Highlight ✨ Adidas Booth at the KLM Marathon Expo 👟🏃🏻‍♀️

We are thrilled to share our latest project for Adidas Aruba , where SAGE set up a vibrant and engaging booth for our client at the KLM Marathon Expo last weekend. This success was made possible through the professional support of our fantastic partners, Print Media Aruba and Swingmasterz Audio visual & event rentals. 🙏🏼

The booth proudly showcased their Supernova collection, drawing in marathon enthusiasts and Adidas fans alike. A standout feature was the Spin the Wheel giveaway, which added excitement and interaction, allowing visitors to win in-store discounts and free prizes.

This marks our second consecutive year organizing this activation for Adidas. In line with our commitment to sustainability and mindfulness in business, we repurposed all materials from the previous year. This not only minimized waste ♻️ but also demonstrated our dedication to eco-friendly practices. 🌎

The booth was a major attraction, bringing in numerous visitors and resulting in on-site purchases at the expo. We are grateful to Grupo David for their continuous trust and partnership, making these activations a resounding success.

Tasked with pushing the boundaries of our event management expertise to meet this luxurious brand's high standards and requirements, we rose to the challenge and delivered. SAGE joined forces with other vendors to craft a truly spectacular event that reflected the level of quality the GUCCI brand had to offer its clients.

This exclusive affair, celebrating the grand opening of their breathtaking new store, treated VIP clients to an evening of culinary delights, bespoke cocktails, and captivating music.🎶 We extend our heartfelt gratitude🙏🏼 to our client for entrusting SAGE with the ex*****on of this extraordinary event.

Meet the face behind Sage, Derin Kucuk, owner and founder. Over the last 12 years Derin has acquired vast knowledge and experience in marketing. Originally raised in St. Maarten, Derin finished her studies in London in 2012, with a Bachelors in Business Management and Marketing. Immediately after graduating she landed her first job at one of the largest insurance providers in the Caribbean. Initially based in St. Maarten she was later promoted to a position which required her to move to Aruba in 2015, where she was responsible for all marketing activities of Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao.

After 4 years of experience in corporate life and traditional insurance marketing she felt it was time to broaden her knowledge. After fallen in love with Aruba she knew she wanted to stay and build her career here. In 2017 she started working in one of the top digital marketing agencies in the Caribbean, where she gained experience in an innovative way of work and online marketing. Her dynamic background in both corporate and agency makes it easy for her to adapt to working with various companies. She has built experience in both traditional and digital marketing making her knowledge very diverse and allowing her to develop marketing plans tailored to your specific target audience.
