Much has been going on at the farm the past few weeks.
The weather has been kind. With regular rainfall. It has been a perfect time for all the planting. Already thinking about the cooler months- poppies, delphinium, ornamental kale, chrysanthemums, carnations are getting their roots into the warm ground.
The glasshouse is going thru a mini transition with a trial crop of winter dahlias going in.
Picking is in full throttle- perfumed tuberose, lisianthus, sunflower, scabiosca, dahlia’s. A new crop of babies breath that look like a field of snow, camomile daisy, and whimsical Queen Anne lace are being picked on daily rotation.
The summer rhythm on the flower farm- sun, rain, planting, picking and watching all the flowers bloom.
