Another beautiful location and another beautiful wedding. This one felt special. It felt like every single person was connected to the next, even if they had just met. That was the vibe that Matthew and Amelia created. What an honour to have been a part of it.

There is a small little moment that I like to share with the bride and groom, just after the bride arrives. It’s a small little moment, held in the space between them seeing each other for the first time, and realising what comes next. I get them to look at me or each other and no one else. We take a quiet moment to breathe, wipe a few tears away, have a drink of water or whatever they choose 🥂and we stay in this moment until they both agree they are ready to kick it off. It’s a tiny little moment, but it’s the most beautiful moment that hits me right in the feels, every single time. To bear witness to the raw emotion, the beautiful connection between them, and watch them support each other through it, is an honour. But it’s also a simple little moment where I witness the realisation of the profound enormity of all the simple little moments to come, wash over them. I love being a celebrant. I love this little moment.

I have had a beautiful run of weddings for dear loved ones, friends and family. What a treat. Today was, once again, the most wonderful expression of love and connection, commitment and hope for the future. What an honour to be a part of that moment for Kim and Tom. ❤️ love what ‘I do’.

Becoming a celebrant has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. I love it. Every part of it. But when you get to marry your bestie old mate it adds an element that can’t be beat!! Thank you for allowing me the honour. ❤️❤️
