What’s happening at BACHLI Furniture for Saturday Indesign?

For Saturday Indesign, BACHLI Furniture is bringing a full day of new design, material exploration and hands-on experiences to its Surry Hills showroom.

Be among the first to see the Array sofa, designed by Snøhetta for MDF Italia, explore an installation with Wild Materials and Murray Industrial H**p, join The Sofa as Architecture talk, or get creative in a hands-on workshop where you can build your own Array configuration.

There’ll also be hospitality from Sol Cleanse and Humble Bakery, wine tasting from Krinklewood Estate, and a special gift bag for the first 100 guests.

Getting around Saturday Indesign: Paddington

Planning your Saturday Indesign day? Here’s what you need to know about getting around the Paddington precinct.

Paddington is one of our most walkable precincts, with participating showrooms all within easy walking distance of each other. We recommend exploring the precinct on foot, taking in the showrooms and everything happening along the way.

When you’re ready to head to the next precinct, the Yellow Express Bus connects Paddington directly with Waterloo and Alexandria throughout the day.

What’s happening at Ellison Studios for Saturday Indesign?

There’s plenty happening at ELLISON STUDIOS in Waterloo, with design, rare books, ping pong, coffee, vinyl and a first look at what’s new all under one roof.

Browse the Ellison Studios x Selected Objects Book Fair, featuring a covetable collection of out-of-print titles, one-off books and first editions spanning art and design, with coffee by Artificer all day.

Feeling competitive? The Ellison Studios Ping Pong Tournament kicks off from 9am, with the best of the day going head-to-head in the Grand Final at 4pm.

Then from 3pm, the outdoor collection heads into the carpark for Drinks and Decks, with vinyl spinning, drinks flowing and a first look at the new collection.

This Saturday Indesign, Living Edge is transforming its Alexandria showroom into Destination Living Edge, taking visitors on a journey through international design, product, storytelling and experience.

Explore Design with Purpose, where leading architecture and interiors studios reimagine the iconic Magis Puppy and you can cast your vote for Top Dog, join the Design in Transit panel, then settle in for Aperitivo in the afternoon.

You’ll also find Muuto x Living Edge in Paddington, with Soundscape sessions exploring design, the senses and wellbeing throughout the day, alongside a Danish-inspired Kaffepause.

What’s happening at Few and Far for Saturday Indesign?

For Saturday Indesign, Few and Far is exploring this year’s theme of Alchemy through Re-Crafted, an exhibition centred on transformation and creative reinterpretation.

A group of artists and creatives have been invited to take pieces from the Few and Far collection and transform them through their own creative lens, changing their form, meaning and the way we see them.

On the day, the showroom will become part exhibition, part installation, bringing these reimagined works together with the Few and Far collection.
