TUTU CLASS WOODEND.

Barbara and I have a few spots available for the two or three day tutu class we are running over the Kings Birthday long weekend in June

Classes will run from 9-5 each day at the Woodend Bowls clubroom in the heart of Woodend.

Cost is $600 for two days of tutu making, using my original panelled bodice with seven to nine layers of net (depending on the size you want to make). Monday is also available as a free day to complete your tutu, OR you can attend a full day of embellishment class covering bodice decoration, plates, design, basic dying and anything else you we can think of to show you.
Embellishment class is $300 for the day.

Dani Legge always liked sewing and started making tutus when her daughters started learning ballet. Later this year she decided to use her talents for Ethiopian women.

Sometimes I like to go back to basics and make a simpler design that lets the fabric and trim speak for itself, especially when they are as pretty as this embossed cream velvet and this iridescent cream flower lace. Seven layers of gathered cream net are joined by a layer of sparkly gold glitter dot tulle under the top net layer for a lovely glimmer on stage.

-Chest 60-65cm
- Waist 50-55cm

-Girth 115-120cm
