My latest tutu went winging off to Queensland yesterday. Brief was dark and moody in deep purple, but sparkly.
I used a soft black net with dots of black glitter over purple net and fuchsia glitter tulle.

Gold on gold on gold semi stretch tutu.
This tutu is made from the new tutustudioborealis semi stretch pattern but I used a slightly stretchy crushed velvet for the bodice and normal lycra for the knickers, and eliminated the back opening. It still pulls on like a stretch tutu, but will fit a smaller range of measurements than my 12-15 Lycra pattern does, so please check the measurements below.
Gold crushed velvet is teamed with gold glitter motifs, AB rhinestones, flat back pearls,hand dyed braid and an underlayer of the amazingly glitttery starlight tulle imported by and available by the metre from Petite Prima Tutu Supplies
I have included a video in comments to try to show how sparkly this tutu is.
A top layer of pleated net tops the other seven gathered layers.
To fit chest 73-78cm, waist 62-67cm, full hip 75-80cm and girth 133-137cm…although it would fit slightly longer girth as my dummy is 142cms.
