Just a little reminder we are out of Oz until late Jan. but the ladies will be reopening the cafe Jan 12th. We have limited phone and internet service but I will check in when we do have service.

What a year it’s been at Grazing in the Valley! 💛

From busy coffee mornings to beautifully catered events, 2025 has been a year we’ll never forget. We have had way more highs than lows and this we are grateful for although building this cafe has not come without our fair share of challenges!!

Eeeeee…… one more day and this will be us!

Tomorrow (Wednesday) we will be clearing all display fridge fresh foods and possibly milk if we have any left. Discounts until it’s gone. We were aiming to stay open until 2pm but almost all new years catering orders are being collected early so as soon as the stock sells out and orders collected Vacation mode shall be activated 🥳🥳🥳

All grazing boxes will be ready for collection by 9am. We do have a small amount of extra stock and can possibly do a couple of Original grazes and a couple of seasonal fruit boxes extra but once it’s gone it’s gone. Please call the cafe first thing tomorrow if you wish to order one (08) 7118 1845.

There are a lot of people still coming in looking to sign the paper petition against the plastics factory. We no longer have this on the counter as it is no longer in use and it is not because we don’t want it here. It is now online. I will pop the link below.

Latte art….. 🤯🤯🤯

Do you know how many cups of coffee with cactus (personally I like to call them p***s cups 😂) are made when we get a new employee?? I don’t know why but that shape seems to just happen when you are learning for everyone 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Did you know the best latte art a barista ever does is ALWAYS when a customer orders a cappuccino and we must cover in chocolate??

Personally I can NEVER make a simple heart but I can make a fine 🍑.

Latte art is way harder than it looks but our coffee no matter what the art design will ALWAYS taste amazing, be the right temp and using top quality beans and milk. Art comes with practice.

Here are the first few cups from a recent training day for a new employee.
Don’t worry, nothing goes to waste… Our neighbours happily polish off ALL the training coffees no matter what “art” is on top.

Back open tomorrow morning from 8am with a limited menu for the next few days.
