Doing funerals is an honour, I never take for granted. To be able to help people at their lowest and make things a little easier is the most satisfying thing you could ever image. That and making people smile or laugh at the same time. Funerals don’t have to sad and somber.
Just before I started a service today for a 84 year old war veteran. His wife said to me “ Mick your going to make this funny and have people laughing aren’t you”
Made my day. Ps And request accomplished ❤️

Whilst I am trying to slow down with weddings. To be honest I wouldn’t be doing any of my wife Monique Bourke didn’t do all the behind the scenes work. So was good to see her get an accolade she so deserves.

Nice to wake up to this on a Monday morning

Good morning Mick. Just wanted to thank you again for helping us send off my Dad in the perfect way last Friday.

We have had so many people contacting us to say how fitting the service was for him, and how refreshing your words and delivery were.

We cannot thank you enough for helping us make an absolutely miserable day, into one that was truly a celebration of my Dad. You are exceptional at your craft ###

All my weddings are special. But to be the Celebrant at my nieces wedding yesterday was just perfect and then to MC the reception just topped it off. Congrats Ash Bourke and Chris Bornemann.

Wedding tip for everyone: If you just happened to get engaged on New Years Eve and are thinking of getting married within 12 months. I would suggest you start to book venues churches Celebrants photographers videographers cars, etc as soon as possible. Otherwise you will get only what's left and not what you wanted. Don't miss out.
