Know your normal 💗

Breast cancer doesn’t discriminate – it can impact people of any age or gender. This is why being breast aware matters for everyone.

Being breast aware is simply about getting familiar with how your breasts usually look and feel. There’s no strict routine to follow; it’s more about building small, regular check-ins into everyday moments like showering, getting dressed or applying moisturiser.

🔍 Keep an eye out for changes like:

• any new lump or swelling in the breast
• differences in size, shape or skin texture
• ni**le changes or unexpected discharge
• swelling or discomfort in the armpit or collarbone area
• ongoing or unusual breast or ni**le pain

Most changes aren’t cancer, but if something feels off, it’s always worth getting it checked by a health professional.

Wollongong is in the mix to host a possible V8 Supercars Street Race!

Supercars want to bring a new street circuit event to New South Wales to replace the Newcastle 500, with the Illawarra and Central Coast being considered.

Wollongong City Council has confirmed it's participated in high level discussions with Destination NSW and V8 Supercars regarding the proposal.

However, no formal submission or application has been submitted.

Member for Wollongong Paul Scully has thrown his support behind the idea and says the event could inject millions of dollars into the local economy.

Destination Wollongong says the event would present significant tourism and economic opportunities for Wollongong, but require careful consideration of community impact, logistics and overall value.

I would love to hear people's views.
While I’m open to the idea of bringing the Supercars Championship to Wollongong, I struggle to see how a street circuit could realistically work within the CBD. The streets are relatively narrow, with tight corners and limited space.
The scale of infrastructure needed is significant: barriers & fencing, a pit lane, a grandstands and broadcast and corporate facilities.
Port Kembla would be a better option but even then, I struggle to see where everything could go.

There would also be considerable disruption, probably more so than the UCI cycling given the construction required.
