📣🎀💖 WE DID IT HELENSBURGH!! OVER $100,000 DONATED TO BREAST CANCER RESEARCH IN THREE YEARS!! 💖🎀📣

WOW!! I am SO incredibly proud and absolutely elated to share what our amazing little community has achieved!! 🥹💖✨

My goal this year was to hopefully surpass $100,000 donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) across our three years of Helensburgh Pink Ribbon.

AND WE’VE DONE IT!!! 🥲🙌💕

Helensburgh Pink Ribbon 2026 raised a RECORD-BREAKING $40,930 — our biggest fundraising year yet! ✨

We’ve also been able yo set aside $2,000 for our beautiful local Warrior Women, to create opportunities for connection, friendship and support throughout the year (guided by the women themselves.) 💕

This brings the 2026 NBCF donation total to $38,930 AND an incredible 🎀 $102,764 🎀 across three years

A HUGE thank you to the Helensburgh Tigers for donating their bar proceeds again this year, an incredible $6,000! What an amazing contribution! 🫶

A little about where the money goes: Pink Ribbon is 100% community and volunteer-led. Neither myself, the Tigers nor our wonderful volunteers receive payment.

Expences were higher this year as we made several essential event improvements including: larger marquees, catering, staging, additional AV equipment etc. And having sold my event-hire business, which previously supplied much of our furniture and decorations free of charge, we needed to hire and/or purchase additional items this year - decorations, signage, hilarious Diva Dash characters and other goodies, but this means that those investment now belong to Helensburgh Pink Ribbon and can be used for years to come! 💖

To our incredible sponsors, local businesses, suppliers, speakers, volunteers and every single person who attended, donated or supported us — LOOK WHAT WE’VE ACHIEVED TOGETHER!! 🥹🙌💗🎀

It’s been so heartwarming to see this event evolve and become so much more than just a day. We’re not only supporting breast cancer research, but creating a space for women to feel seen, heard, celebrated, connected and EMPOWERED.

And that means the absolute world to me! 💕

💖 A VERY SPECIAL SHOUT-OUT TO MARK & THE EHA ENTERTAINMENT CREW! 🎤🎶

Some people really do go above and beyond, and Mark Thompson from EHA Entertainment and Events is one of those absolute gems! 💕

Last year, Mark answered our call for help, organising his incredibly talented daughter Emily to preform, who absolutely WOWED everyone with her amazing voice and good vibes! 💃🎶

Together, they brought the dance floor to life and helped create such an incredible atmosphere, even through a freak storm and flooding! 😂 All while providing entertainment, equipment and support at a heavily discounted rate!

And this year, Mark has gone even further! 🥹

Emily is BACK (much to everyone’s excitement! 🙌), and Mark has been working tirelessly behind the scenes, organising additional entertainment, sound and AV support, equipment, logistics and so much more!

We’re also excited to welcome Zac Gervaise from STM Music Factory on guitar and vocals, Finley Ford on sound engineering, and the wider EHA support crew! 🎸🎤

Mark, your generosity, enthusiasm, expertise and genuine passion for this event are something special. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and we’re so incredibly grateful to have you and your crew in our Pink Ribbon family! 💗

We’re almost there ladies!! Just a few little things to know before Saturday! 🥰

📍 WHERE: Rex Jackson Oval, Helensburgh (Tiger’s Main Ground)

⏰ WHEN: Saturday 17 October | 12pm–5pm

👠 FOOTWEAR: We’re on grass ladies! Flats, wedges or block heels are your best friends. Leave the stilettos at home! 💕

🎟️ ENTRY: No tickets needed! Just provide your full name at the door.

🥂 FOOD & DRINKS: Your welcome drink and lunch are included! Tigers bar will be open for additional drink purchases, including non-alcoholic options.

💳 PAYMENTS: Cash and card facilities available.
