Fire cab off the rank is our Fire Workshop! With Sasori_D and Manda

Fire play embraces this exciting element in a very personal way, combining fear, sensuality and temperature in a unique way. In this class we explore the beginnings of fire play, enabling students to kickstart their journey or solidify their foundation.

In this class we will cover:

🏗️Building your kit - How to create your kit, highlighting the function of each tool, how to obtain/make it and the nuances of it’s use. This will include: Wands, Gloves, Fuel containers and Fire Blankets

📋Scene setup - Beginning with the negotiation, logistical scene setup and initial assessment of the environment that you are in for suitability.

🚧Fire safety - The basics of fire safety, the types of fires you may encounter, what to do in emergency situations, what a burn is, an introduction to basic burn first aid and negotiation considerations acknowledging all of the above.

🛢️Fuel choice - Providing transparency into the why’s of fuel choice as well as examining other fuel choices made in various scenes/activities involving fire.

🔥Basic techniques - Hands on work in small groups, engaging in your first 'scene' as well as engaging in spotting work for others. We will cover an end-to-end scene and provide some small group practice time with a presenter, enabling you to get a well-rounded perspective on Fire play.

Oct 31st - Sh***ri Sydney - Theme: Halloween (Ofcourse)

Tickets will be available to previously vetted attendees from Wednesday 19th to Friday 21st when any remaining tickets will be made active for newly vetted attendees.

Previously vetted attendees will receive the password via email before tickets launch.

As per usual we will be checking ticket purchase emails against vetting emails so if yours dont match prepare to get an email and cancelled tickets if you dont respond within 48 hours

Unfortunately the Nocte space is gone, but the memories remain. Mortem is our nod to what Nocte was, our community, our loves, but in a different space.

Held on Oct 31st @ Sh***riSydney Marrickville.
Halloween themed dress code OFCOURSE.
*SS is not a SOP space. Underwear must stay on.

I'll also let you in on a little sweet treat 🦇 Every Mortem event there will be 2 chances to win a free ticket to the event... But I'll tell you more about that later.

Tickets will be announced and available from mid August. More info about ticket release dates ect will come closer to the time.

As we have done previously we will be capping our event at 60 to 70 people. We know that you guys prefer smaller turnouts where space isnt limited and too many people can get overwhelming. So were keeping it to Nocte's OG format 🦇
