Hi everyone.
It’s with great sadness that I’m going to have to postpone this even till 2026.
I am deeply sorry but I have just had and still have too much happening within my family.
With the constant bullying that was happening with my son last year in year 8 and it wasn’t his fault. He was at the wrong place at the wrong time when it all started, then it snow balled into something no one, not even the school saw coming.
My husbands job is demanding at the moment, not to mention all the volunteer hours, if not days and weeks he has to put into the local scouts and getting things up and running for the kids that are aging up. He is not only the scout leader, he is the leader in charge and as of this year the venturer leader because our son is going up to that age group.
I have to chase up my daughter’s specialist appointments to get her diagnosed, which is like pulling teeth because she is 9 and the doctors won’t see her because she is over 5. Which is frustrating.
On top of all that I need to see specialists myself for my IIH (Idiopathic Intercranial Hypertension). Long explanation cut down, my body produces too much spinal fluid and it’s got not where to go. So it’s building up on my brain. Pushing on my eyes and my hearing. Not to mention any stress that can trigger a headache will literally shatter me and I will be bed ridden for a week or two. So a normal headache for a regular person is what I live with everyday, “my headaches” are actually what you guys call migraines and then there is the wipeout migraines where I literally can’t read or write. It takes me 2 months to put words together again so I can read. It’s horrendous.
I also need to get my ptsd under control and be assessed for ADHD.
Not to mention I need my boss to get the roster under control. Every time we get my hours sorted the area manager throws a new employee in the mix who takes my days 🙄 so frustrating for both her and me. But I need to work around my husbands hours because he is the main bread winner and if he looses his job then we are totally in the hole.
That doesn’t include my parents and my mother in law’s health issues.
So I am going to take the next two years to get this event sorted and I’m hoping I can get my niece who is studying event management to help me, so she might be able to get extra credit at uni. But with or without her help this will be going ahead in 2026.
Please be patient with me because this IIH is a walking minefield where anything and everything can trigger it off.
I will keep everything sorted and confidential. I will also keep everyone appraised, every step of the way.
