Paul Bangay has designed a formal classical European style garden surrounded by the beauty of the natural bushland.

Our new addition for the 25/26 season, a layered reception space surrounded by nature in the heart of the gardens. Designed to feel immersed in the landscape while offering all the practicality and flexibility needed for a seamless celebration, the space is fully accessible and easily adapted for both seated dinners and relaxed stand-up receptions.

From intimate long-table gatherings to lively cocktail-style evenings, we’ve loved seeing each couple make the space their own, hosting celebrations from 40 to 140 guests.

Cocktail hour on the lower terrace 🌿🥂

Following on from your long garden ceremony guests continue their journey through the venue with cocktail hour on the lower terrace, generally after pausing for hugs, congratulations and family photos on the lawn 📸

Surrounded by towering trees and seasonal blooms guests can enjoy the last of the afternoon sun alongside roaming canapés and bar service from before moving to the top terrace for a seated reception ✨

One of the most beautiful things about the Long Garden is watching it change with the seasons.

Our wedding season begins in September, when the garden is heavy with cascading purple wisteria. As spring unfolds, delicate crab apple blossom begins to appear, bringing soft colour and fresh energy to the space.

By mid-summer, lush hydrangeas make their entrance, creating a romantic backdrop for garden portraits.

All drinks service is provided by the team at Tiller Events, including cocktail service, roaming top-ups during cocktail hour, and full table service during dinner.

We’re passionate about showcasing local wines, creating personalised cocktails, and curating a bar menu that hold special meaning to you and your story. We’re more than happy to recommend quantities and recipes.

Couples can choose between a drinks package or a BYO option, giving you the flexibility to design a bar experience that suits your style and celebration.

At Margaret River Secret Gardens we are exclusively catered by Tiller Events, who curate personalised seasonal menus to reflect your unique style and vision. From relaxed cocktail bites and abundant grazing tables to beautifully plated three-course dining and indulgent late-night snacks, every detail is thoughtfully crafted to elevate your event experience.

Looking to surprise your guests? Consider adding in interactive culinary moments such as oyster shucking or a show-stopping liquid nitrogen ice cream display.

Couples also have the opportunity to experience the flavours ahead of their big day at Tiller’s annual tasting event each May, as well as at select ticketed events throughout the year.

Your venue hire also includes onsite reception coordination by an experienced Tiller events manager, ensuring your day flows effortlessly from start to finish, so you can be fully present and soak in every moment.

To maintain the highest quality and consistency, outside caterers are not permitted, with the exception of a sponge-based wedding cake.
