Update, the event unfortunately had to be called off early due to weather, so unfortunate given all the effort put in by so many!

Before we got winded and rained out at the Salty Siesta! We may not be there now but the weather is holding out and the show goes on and there is so much for the family (and adults) to enjoy! Entertainment, markets, kid zone, food, pop-up bar! Go support Local!

Welcome to Whyalla Jumping Castles 🏰 (formerly Bounce Around Castles)! We are the new owners and we would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves! Our names are Michael🙍🏽‍♂️ and Wenona 🙎🏽‍♀️and we are born and bred Whyalla locals. When we’re not working at the mines or as a social worker, we are being busy parents to our 2 young children🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒. Since being parents, we have found our inner child’s through our love of jumping castles, hiring multiple castles off of Richard and Gloria over the years. Wenona has also found a love for working events and bringing joy to those in the community through her current role, which brings us to today… our newest venture, jumping castle hire! 😁

We also want to take this time to thank Richard and Gloria on behalf of the entire Whyalla community… and the region for that matter! for all their hard work and dedication over the last 3 decades, bringing joy and happiness to our children through jumping castles. Without them, I’m sure many of us and our now children wouldn’t have got to experience the pure joy that jumping castles bring! 💗💗

As Richard and Gloria take a very well deserved rest, we also thank them one last time for giving us the opportunity to continue to make jumping castles accessible in our community and we definitely hope to follow in their footsteps and continue to serve the local community as well as they did with all things inflatables! 🏰

As we take over, please bear with us until we find our groove, we intend on honouring all current bookings at the prices they were booked and will be reaching out to re-confirm your bookings in the coming weeks. During this transition period, we will also be limiting the amount of bookings we do outside of Whyalla… just for now, not forever!

With the changeover, there will be some inevitable changes. Rest assured, these may in fact BENEFIT you. Firstly, unfortunately due to overhead costs, there will be a slight increase in pricing, we have tried to keep this as minimal as possible. Okay, so that one may not benefit you BUT…. Secondly, as we will still be working our other jobs on the side, pickup/drop-off times may have to be negotiated. Which means, it may end up with you being able to enjoy your hired jumping castle for longer at no extra cost!! Thirdly, watch this space, we’re already eagerly looking at possible new editions to join our range!

Another exciting thing to note, we also have everything in the backend sorted to now start attending corporate and community events again as vendors! We can also hire castles (supervised only, no dry-hire) on council land again i.e. if you wanted to have your party at the Ada Ryan Gardens! If you want more information, please reach out!
