Good people. Beautiful friendships. And a shared love for what we do.🤍

A little pre-Christmas chaos with some of the loveliest humans I have the pleasure of working alongside at House of Vows. 🥂

Today was about taking a moment to celebrate my wonderful tribe.

These are the people who make it possible for me to do what I love, and I appreciate them more than they know.

It’s such a privilege to work alongside people who bring so much heart, talent and genuine care to what they do.

I’m grateful for the collaboration, the support, the laughter, the friendships and all the little moments in between.

Your witnesses don’t have to be your best friends, or the two people everyone expects you to choose.

They can be your grandparents, siblings, the friend who introduced you, or someone who has quietly been a huge part of your story.

You can even keep it a surprise and ask them during the ceremony 🤍

The only non-negotiable? You need two witnesses, both over 18, who understand what they’re witnessing.

Choose the people whose names you’d love sitting beside yours forever.

I’ve been meaning to share this properly — 2026 has brought some pretty special news for both House of Vows and my work as a celebrant.

At the recent 2026 WA Wedding Industry Awards we were recognized as:

🏆 WINNER — Wedding Chapels & Wedding Locations
House of Vows

✨ TOP 5 — Elopements & Intimate Weddings

✨ TOP 5 — Marriage Celebrant

And that WA win means something particularly exciting…

House of Vows is now a FINALIST in the 2026 Australian Wedding Awards — Wedding Chapels & Wedding Locations category.

So in January 2027, we’re heading to Brisbane for the National Awards. ✈️🏆

When I created House of Vows, the idea was simple — a beautiful, intimate space where couples could have a micro wedding that still felt incredibly special.

To now have House of Vows recognised as the WA Winner in Wedding Chapels & Wedding Locations, and to be taking our little West Leederville chapel to the national stage, feels pretty wonderful.

And alongside that, to place Top 5 in WA for both Elopements & Intimate Weddings and Marriage Celebrant means just as much to me.

Most importantly … behind every one of these awards are the couples who choose me, trust me with their stories and walk through the doors of House of Vows to get married.

Did you know we are just 150metres from Lake Monger

Many of our couples often head to the lake for photos after their ceremony at House of Vows WA 🤍

On occasions we take the Sign the Register or Legal’s Only package beyond the buidling and couples exchange their vows under the open skies, wiht a soft breeze and the people you love most gathered close, such a beautiful setting to say “I do.”

The front row is for your nearest and dearest...

Think about who you want to see when you look up. The people who calm the nerves, make you smile and have held a really important place in your story.

Then think practically too, who needs easy access, who’s doing a reading or signing, and whether there are any family dynamics worth planning around beforehand.

A little thought about the seating now, means one less thing to think about on the day 🤍
