Waurn Ponds Estate is a boutique conference venue and hotel nestled amongst expansive grounds on the doorstep to the Great Ocean Road. The Estate consists of 60 contemporary accommodation rooms, eight technology-rich conference spaces and extensive breakout areas, making it the ultimate venue for conferences and business events. The eight conference spaces at the Estate all feature sweeping views

through floor to ceiling windows and state of the art AV equipment. They can accommodate anywhere from 10 people for a meeting, up to 154 theatre-style in the Torquay Room. Great food is a big part of what we do at the Estate and we’re proud to showcase this using local produce. The stunning Barrabool restaurant can cater for up to 70 seated guests and leads to the kitchen garden. The breakout areas and outdoor spaces at the Estate are perfect for hosting cocktail events and team building sessions. Relax by our infinity pool and spa, enjoy a game of tennis, a workout in the gym or a stroll along one of our spectacular walking tracks. Stay at the Estate in one of the 60 accommodation rooms, most of which can be twinned. Featuring beautiful furnishings, king size beds, modern ensuites and gorgeous views, they are the perfect space to relax and unwind. Tucked away on Deakin University’s Waurn Ponds Campus, the Estate is surrounded by a beautiful, distraction free rural environment with complimentary car parking. The Estate is approximately one hour drive from Melbourne and 20 minutes from the Geelong CBD, providing an escape from the hustle and bustle.

Our Express Dining menu has had an update! The classic favourites remain while some new dishes have been added, like this pan fried haloumi with buckwheat tabouli with honey and yogurt dressing. Available Monday to Friday, 11am - 7pm.

Our Express Bistro menu is perfect for lunch, dinner, or those moments in between - whether you are staying with us, here for a function, or just want to pop in for a meeting and a meal. Our head chef Damian changes the menu monthly, but the steak frites and Port Phillip calamari are mainstays.

Waurn Ponds Estate’s walls boast a wonderful collection of original art spanning the last 70 years, featuring artists such as Tim Maguire and Kevin Mortensen. We are excited to now welcome guests to enjoy our Self Guided Art Collection Audio Tour. The tour can be included in a conference schedule, enjoyed during break periods or added on as a unique element of an event. Take a stroll around the Estate with a glass of local wine in hand and enjoy the tour.
