Alana Brettle from our team spent the day at Cvent ‘s Accelerate event at Sofitel Sydney Wentworth Wentworth and it’s safe to say the room was thinking further ahead than most.

A few highlights:
→ Kris Fade (yes, the Virgin Radio Dubai one) took the stage as guest speaker
→ Six practical predictive AI strategies for planners, marketers and hoteliers — spotting risk earlier and making smarter calls before, during and after an event
→ A genuinely great conversation with Oksana Koriakova (founder of Impero) on what actually builds meaningful connection at events, beyond the small talk

And because it wasn’t all sessions, a custom scent bar, a sound-healing reset, and rooftop networking at Wentworth Bar with Matty Fahd behind the decks to close out the night.

Also great catching up with Riya Chowdhury while we were there.

The event industry is moving fast on AI right now, and days like this are exactly how we stay ahead of it rather than catching up later.

The Hunter Valley is getting a seriously luxe new addition, and we're here for it ✨ //

Landing in 2027, Laval Hunter Valley is set to transform the historic Lindeman Estate in Pokolbin into a next-level luxury retreat, blending vineyard living, wellness, incredible food and high-end hospitality all in one place.

Far from another hotel project, this will be the first luxury resort of its scale built in the region in more than 20 years.
