Lazy Lester got along to see the Bob Dylan biopic "A Complete Unknown" this week and was inspired to present a program full of connections to that movie, and in particular to the Newport Folk Festival (where Dylan went electric and incurred the wrath of the folkie purists). Expect to hear material from Woody Guthrie, Ry Cooder, John Lee Ho**er, Sleepy John, Muddy, Jesse Fuller, Mance Lipscomb, Paul Butterfield, The Band, Johnny Cash (blues versions, thank you!), Rev Gary Davis, and of course, His Royal Bobness!

Josh White was an American singer, guitarist, songwriter, actor and civil rights activist. He also recorded under the names Pinewood Tom and Tippy Barton in the 1930s.
