“I knew before we were even engaged that Monty had to be our celebrant. I’d followed him on Instagram for years and loved his energy, humour and country twang - exactly the vibe I wanted for our ceremony.

Loving our country lifestyle, we couldn’t go past the whip-cracking, boot-wearing, rockstar celebrant that is Monty. From the moment we met to do the paperwork, he was warm, funny and so easy to get along with. He made the whole process a breeze.

In the lead-up to the big day, the story questionnaires were such a fun way to reflect on our relationship. We also really appreciated how Monty helped us shape our vows so they matched in tone and felt completely us.

On the day, the ceremony ran so smoothly, full of laughs and emotion. We especially loved the surprise element where he picked two random guests to be our witnesses - and somehow managed to pick one from each side!

Laid back, down to earth, chill as f**k couples like Jess & Trev. So chill in fact, that they chose to get matching tattoos mid cocktail hour in front of their guests.

Absolutely loved hitching these legends at Boxgrove, one of my all time favourite venues. Check it out, it's bloody beautiful!

WHAT’S THE DEAL?

Being a full time marriage celebrant is the BEST JOB EVER! And because I love it so much, I put boot loads of effort into every couple. There's no regurgitated, pre written, 1950's wedding lingo - instead, my ceremonies are 100% written from scratch and all about YOU!

My couples end up being my friends, not 'clients' because thats the way it should be. It's such a personal connection, and for that reason I don't marry every couple - just the ones that are right for me as I am right for them. So how far will I travel? That depends on the connection - I'll go anywhere for the right couple!

The end goal for my ceremonies is to have your guests asking you, "Where'd your mate Monty go?" or "Why didn't your mate Monty stay for the reception?" - and this happens time and time again because I've taken the time to get to know you so well that on the day the story I tell is so real, so true and so you. Everyone just assumes we are best mates...which we will be!
