If you follow me you know that I❤️MUSIC!

I can give or take watching a film clip. What really floats my boat is the music and the lyrics. Let's face it, the lyrics are just another way of writing a story and I❤️writing stories.

Anyway, the other day, Max and I were out walking. I don't need headphones, I just sing along in my mind to whatever earworm happens to have burrowed its way into my brain, and if you are lucky you might even hear me singing aloud (sorry kids, yes I sometimes do this when you are not around).

That day I had Spiderbait's F**ken Awesome running through my head, and I'm walking along singing "I'm diggin' ya now, I'm just diggin' ya now, I'm diggin' ya now, Don't wanna walk away, I couldn't anyway, You fill my empty day, You know you make me stay 'cause, You're f**ken awesome...." and it made me think that if we got married again it would be cool to include this song in our ceremony now that we no longer need to be careful about my grandparents or Fuzz's parents having a little conniption.

So, hit me up, what is your totally appropriate inappropriate, little bit sweary wedding song, that says exactly how you feel?

From a first kiss to a final farewell and everything in between, everyone has a unique story, and a great ceremony should feel completely and authentically like you, each one with its own magic, a few laughs and tears along the way.
I love hearing how you met, fell in love and what made you decide to marry.
If you’re farewelling a loved one, I find out who they were. The funny bits, the quirky bits and the things that made that person them.
If you are naming your baby I want to know the story behind the name and ask their loved ones to make personal promises.
I'll make sure you feel prepared and feel ready. I'll walk you through everything you need to know, so you can simply be present on the day.
When I'm not writing ceremonies, you'll find me scrolling social media, chasing a good coffee, enjoying fine food and wine, reading a book or losing a game to my hubby and kids.

That's a wrap for the 2026 conference.
The sessions were fabulous and the people I met inspirational.
It was so cool catching up with my fellow wedding celebrant friend and sharing a couple of cheeky cocktails.
