About me

Hello, my name is Scott Chambers and I am an Authorised Civil Marriage Celebrant. I have lived and travelled to many places, but Wagga will always be my home. I have been married to my wife Brenda for over 30 years and we have 2 adult sons. I am a member of the Australian Marriage Celebrants Association as well as Riverina Marriage Celebrants Association. I have been a Justice of the Peace as well for many years.

I am all for marriage equality and strongly believe with what Australia has voted for. Love is love regardless of gender. I have always been a community minded person and decided some years ago to become a civil celebrant. What an enjoyable and special role it has turned out to be.

I have no problem travelling to wherever couples wish to marry ie by the sea, in the mountains or by the river, even a hot air balloon!! The list is endless.

I love a good laugh and am very easy to get along with. I give plenty of options and ideas as well as listen to yours. Together the wedding ceremony turns out just right!! I successfully completed Certificate IV in Celebrancy in 2014 and then was registered by the Commonwealth Attorney Generals Department. I take seriously this important role in the community and listen to the ideas, thoughts and suggestions couples have to make sure their wedding ceremony is exactly what they want.
