Married at Maddie’s family farm at The Rock, surrounded by all of their favourite people. They started the ceremony with an aisle walk of tributes to love ones who have passed, that were then placed on reserved seats at the front, followed by beer boys to lighten the mood. Maddie also surprised Ryan with a recorded message from the kids just before she entered which got the tears flowing (especially from the bridesmaids!!)

It was such a special wedding to be a part of, beautiful couple - beautiful kids - beautiful life ahead of them 🤍

As your celebrant and MC, I always aim to wear something that fits beautifully with the vibe and colours of your day — and this one was too easy thanks to the stunning florals by and the gorgeous vision of (+ too)!

Let’s talk about personal vows //

Whilst they aren’t compulsory, I always encourage my couples to include them (because they are honestly my favourite part of every wedding!!) They turn your ceremony into something deeply personal- especially when they are raw, real and usually fully of laughs, tears and truths. Not only will I provide you with a vow writing guide to get you started, I will also review them and give feedback if you’re open to it, as well as print them on personalised cards for you to read from on the day and keep. If you don’t like the idea of reading them out loud as part of your ceremony, you can always do them privately as part of a ‘first look’ before the ceremony or even after during your portraits. Either way, they are such a great opportunity to share with your love how you truly feel about them and the life you’ve created together.

Married on a perfect September day which also happened to be their 10 year Anniversary! It was a perfect reflection of them and the 10 years they’ve been together. They held their ceremony on the banks of the Creek that has been the backdrop to every big moment in their relationship and I loved that they used a very special family heirloom as the esky, it was VERY fitting and our Poppy Farm would have been so chuffed!

This day was such a vibe! With the sun shining and Adelong Creek as their backdrop, these two beautiful souls were married surrounded by their favourite people.

I LOVED that Prue walked down the aisle by herself to Jimmy, after her parents and bridal party had entered, and then they had their Mums as their witnesses which was such a special moment to share with them.

Absolute 10/10 couple and a 10/10 day. Thanks for having Mr + Mrs Wood 🤍

I love a good post ceremony hug, but they’re even more special when the couple you have just married are also your dear friends.

I’m not exaggerating when I say that everything about this day was just brilliant. Simone is quite the organiser/party planner and their wedding was no exception. My favourite thing though was the timeline of their day...

Being a late May wedding, they decided to have a 1pm Ceremony to maximise the light and the whole day was just SUCH A VIBE (think, a day at the Races). The reception finished at 9pm and those that wanted to party on got dropped off in town, and those like me with little kids (or 37 weeks pregnant) got to go home and have a full night sleep without missing out! Haha

From a vendor and a guest point of view I absolutely loved the earlier start and hope it’s something that more people do in the future!

Thanks for taking the risk that I’d make it in one piece to your special day Mr + Mrs Maxwell, I’m so so glad I did!! 🤍☺️
