Rush fees can be super confusing - so in this episode of Unveiled, Steph and Jacinta are breaking down what Rush fees actually mean and what you can realistically expect when ordering your gown on a tighter timeframe ✨
Standard production times are 9-11 months. A rush fee typically applies to any gown ordered with less than 8 months til the wedding day.
A rush fee means your gown is prioritised by the designer to fit within the timeframe you, as the bride, have available. Think of it as moving your order forward in the queue - not making the queue disappear entirely.
Your gown still needs to be perfectly designed, cut, constructed, finished, checked and shipped and that whole process takes time. A rush fee doesn’t change how long it takes to actually make the gown, it just means it will be made in 4, 5 or 6 months instead of the standard 9-11 months. And yes, that may mean your gown could arrive closer to your wedding date 🤍
